Hello everyone, I’m Mr. Daniel, your language teacher. Today I want to help you build a strong foundational vocabulary, the kind that makes speaking, writing, and understanding language much easier and more confident.
Let’s start with three essential words. First, bright can mean intelligent or full of light, as in, “She gave a bright answer.” Next, journey refers to a trip from one place to another, like, “Our journey begins tomorrow.” And finally, curious means eager to learn, as in, “He is curious about new words.”
A great way to remember new words is to use them in your own sentences, say them out loud, and connect them to your daily life. This not only helps you memorize them, but also understand how to use them naturally.
Another tip is to learn synonyms and antonyms for each word, so you can express ideas in different ways and expand your vocabulary faster.
To support your learning outside class, try vocabulary-building apps like Quizlet, Anki, WordUp, or Magoosh Vocabulary Builder. These tools offer flashcards, quizzes, and personalized practice to support your progress.
Keep practicing a few new words every day, use them in real sentences, and you’ll see your confidence and skills grow. I’m excited to see your progress.
