Local Food Festival

Hello, food lovers! The Taste of Northern Thailand Food Festival, proudly presented by the Riverdale Tourism Board, is back to celebrate the rich flavours, traditions, and culture of Northern Thailand.

Come explore local favorites like Khao Soi, a rich coconut curry noodle soup with tender meat and crispy noodles; SAI Ua sausage, a fragrant Northern Thai sausage packed with herbs and spices; Nam Prik Ong, a savory tomato and minced pork chili dip served with fresh vegetables; and Mango Sticky Rice, a sweet combination of ripe mango, sticky rice, and creamy coconut milk.

There’s plenty to enjoy beyond the food as well. Watch live cooking demonstrations, experience traditional Lanna music and dance, explore cultural displays, and join family-friendly activities that bring the region’s heritage to life. Best of all, admission is free.

Join us on Saturday, August 15, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Riverdale Central Park for a full day of authentic cuisine, local traditions, and lively entertainment.
