Good day, team! I'm Ali Khan, and let's focus on securing our WiFi usage. As we work remotely and access company data on the go, it's crucial we protect our organization's assets.
When using public WiFi, stick to trusted networks and avoid accessing sensitive company data or banking information. If you must use public WiFi, use a VPN, it encrypts your internet traffic, making it much harder for hackers to intercept company data.
Use strong, unique passwords for your WiFi and devices, and ensure you're following our company's password policy. Don't share passwords with unauthorized personnel, and change them regularly, especially if you suspect a breach
. For example, if you notice unfamiliar devices connected to your network, reset your password immediately and report it to IT.
Ensure your device's firewall is enabled and use WPA2 or WPA3 encryption. Verify the network's legitimacy before connecting, we've had instances where hackers set up rogue hotspots with similar names to trick our staff.
Let's commit to secure WiFi practices and uphold our company's data security standards. Your attention to security makes a significant difference.
