Elevator Breakdown Procedure

Hey team, sometimes a guest may get stuck in an elevator. Don’t panic, here’s exactly what you should do to keep everyone safe.
First, remind guests to use the alarm button or intercom. If it doesn’t work, they can call the emergency number listed inside the cab.
Guests may panic, but tell them clearly: never try to force the doors or climb out. It’s dangerous. Ask them to stay calm and wait.
Our role is to answer right away, reassure the guest, and immediately contact certified technicians or emergency responders.
Remember, our elevators have safety systems like backup power and monitoring to help keep guests safe while waiting.
When rescue teams arrive, follow their lead. Stay nearby, guide guests calmly, and ensure they feel safe until the situation is resolved.
So remember, stay calm, reassure our guests, and leave the rescue to trained professionals. Guest safety is always our top priority.
