Semester Schedule Update

Hi everyone, I’m Dr. Priya Sharma, Academic Coordinator at Westbrook. We’ve made a few important updates to the fall semester schedule, so here’s a quick overview.

First, class timings. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday classes will now begin at 9 AM instead of 8, while Tuesday and Thursday schedules remain the same with added break time between classes. Be sure to check the student portal for updated room assignments and course schedules by this Friday.

Midterm exams are scheduled for October 12th through 16th, and final exams will run from December 14th through 19th. We’ve also added a makeup week from December 7th through 11th for approved conflicts, with requests due by November 1st. No final exams will be scheduled after December nineteenth, so you can plan holiday travel.

A few key dates to remember: course add/drop ends September 12th, the withdrawal deadline is November 5th, and advising week takes place November 9th through 13th. December 13th will be a dedicated study day with no classes or exams scheduled.
