First mistake is sentence fragments. A sentence fragment is an incomplete thought, such as Because I was late. Fix this by completing the idea, for example I missed the bus because I was late.

Then let’s look at run on sentences. A run on sentence joins ideas without proper punctuation, such as I finished my work I went home. Fix this by adding punctuation, for Example I finished my work, and then I went home.

Next, incorrect word use happens when similar words are confused, such as using their instead of there. Fix this by choosing the correct word, for example Their house is big and The book is over there.

Finally, keep practicing and correcting your mistakes. With time, your writing will become clear, accurate, and effective.
