Guest Verification Training

Welcome to our Guest Verification training! Today, we’ll show you how to check guest IDs efficiently while keeping security and professionalism a top priority.
Here’s what our hotel accepts. International guests usually show passports. Local guests can use driver’s licenses or government IDs. Special cases include corporate IDs, temporary IDs, or digital IDs, as long as they follow hotel policy.
Here’s how to check an ID properly. First, validate it, check the expiration date, official markings, and ensure it’s not damaged. Next, compare the details with the booking record, the name and any other key info should match. Finally, match the photo to the guest standing in front of you. Make sure it’s the same person, and don’t rush this step!
Verifying guest IDs is more than just a formality. It ensures guest safety, prevents fraud, and protects the hotel. It also helps build trust and confidence with guests, showing them we take their security seriously.
Thanks for watching this training! With these skills, you’re ready to handle guest verification confidently and effectively. Keep up the great work at the front desk!
