Office First Aid Training

Accidents can happen anywhere—even at work. That’s why knowing basic first aid is essential for everyone.
Step one: Stay calm and call for help. Dial emergency services immediately if the situation is serious, and alert your supervisor.
Step two: Check the scene for safety before assisting. Never put yourself at risk.
Step three: Assess the person. If they’re unresponsive, check their airway, breathing, and circulation. Begin CPR if trained, and use an AED if available.
For minor injuries—like cuts or burns—clean the wound, apply pressure to stop bleeding, and cover it with a sterile bandage. For burns, rinse with cool water and avoid using ice.
Always wear protective gloves if possible, and dispose of used materials safely to prevent infection.
Remember: First aid is about stabilizing until professional help arrives. By knowing these basics, you can protect your coworkers, minimize harm, and make your workplace a safer place for everyone.
