Hi, I’m Steve with PolarPath Cold Chain. We keep temperature-controlled food shipments traceable from loading to delivery.

Before loading, our team checks that the trailer is clean and dry, then pre-cools it to the shipper’s written temperature requirement. For example, if a shipment requires 2°C to 5°C, we stabilize the compartment at 4°C and confirm the food meets its loading requirements before it goes aboard. That way, the set point follows the shipment instead of applying one temperature to every product.

Once the doors close, TempTrace records the compartment temperature every five minutes and links each reading to the shipment ID, pickup and delivery times, and seal number. RouteGuard flags a reading above the shipment’s set range for 15 minutes, prompting our team to check the sensor and refrigeration unit, notify dispatch, and hold the load for assessment. It’s released only after the shipper or a qualified food-safety professional reviews and documents the decision.

Choose the run that fits your load. The Local Run is $320 per trip for up to four pallets and 50 miles; the Regional Run is $575 per trip for up to eight pallets and 150 miles. Both include one pickup, one delivery, one temperature zone, PreCool Check, TempTrace, RouteGuard alerts, and digital proof of delivery; applicable taxes are additional. Beyond the package limits, each extra pallet is $28, extra mileage is $3.50 per mile, and each additional delivery stop is $45.
