Good day, team. Welcome to our warehouse safety training. Today, we’ll cover the key precautions for working safely around storage areas, loading zones, and powered equipment.
Before entering the warehouse, put on steel-toe footwear and a high-visibility vest. Add protective gloves whenever you handle pallets or packaging, and wear a safety helmet inside marked loading zones. Since damaged equipment cannot provide reliable protection, inspect every item and replace it before beginning your shift.
Once inside, remain within the designated pedestrian lanes and stop at every blind-corner marker. This keeps you visible to forklift operators, but you must still maintain a three-meter distance from moving equipment. Only certified staff may drive powered vehicles, and every load must remain below the capacity shown on its data plate.
If an injury, spill, or collision occurs, stop nearby activity before contacting the floor supervisor on radio channel three. When an alarm sounds, leave through the nearest marked exit and continue directly to Assembly Point B. Remain there until a supervisor authorizes re-entry.
Before each shift, complete your safety checks and report any hazards you find. By following these procedures consistently, we can help keep the warehouse safe for everyone. Thank you!
