Passport Application Guide

Good day. I’m Officer Emma from the Passport Office, and I’ll guide you through the passport application process for a smooth and compliant submission.

Before you begin, make sure you meet the eligibility requirements. Applicants must be citizens with a valid CNIC or Smart Card and should not have any travel restrictions in place.

Next, prepare all the required documents. You’ll need your original CNIC, recent passport-size photos meeting official specifications, fee payment receipt, and your previous passport if renewing. Having everything ready in advance can help speed up the process.

Once your documents are prepared, visit your nearest Regional Passport Office or apply online where available. The office operates Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Be sure all the information you provide matches your CNIC exactly to avoid any issues or delays.

After submission, processing begins. Normal service takes 10 to 15 working days, while urgent applications are processed within 4 to 7 days. Track your status online and collect your passport or choose delivery if available.
