Hey team, this is Elena Vargas, Senior Maintenance Engineer at Apex Industrial Solutions. Today I’m walking you through our updated Lubrication Guidelines to keep our machinery running at peak performance.
Following the lubrication schedule is critical. Gearboxes and bearings should be lubricated every 500 operating hours, conveyor systems weekly, and high-speed pumps every 250 hours. And as always, be sure to check the equipment manual for any machine-specific requirements or intervals.
When applying lubricant, use the right technique, clean the fitting first, apply the correct amount with a calibrated grease gun, and avoid over-lubrication, which can cause overheating and seal damage. Use only approved high-performance synthetic greases for our environment.
Just as important, document every lubrication task in the maintenance log and inspect equipment for leaks, wear, or contamination during the process. These standards protect your equipment and prevent costly downtime.
Consistent lubrication means longer equipment life and maximum uptime. Let’s keep everything running strong.
