Welcome to our Cloud Infrastructure Basics training session. Today, we’ll break down the core concepts of cloud infrastructure and explore how it powers modern digital services.
Cloud infrastructure refers to the virtual resources that run applications and services over the internet, instead of relying solely on physical hardware. This approach gives businesses greater flexibility, scalability, and efficiency.
At the core of cloud infrastructure are three key components. First, compute, which provides processing power through virtual machines or containers; storage, where data is securely saved and accessed on demand; and networking, which connects users and systems to cloud services.
There are also different deployment models to choose from, including public cloud, where services are shared over the internet, private cloud, dedicated to a single organization, and hybrid cloud, which combines both for greater flexibility.
To use cloud services effectively, it’s important to follow best practices. Secure your accounts with strong authentication, monitor resource usage to manage performance and costs, and regularly back up important data to protect against loss.
Thank you for joining this training session, and remember—mastering the basics is the first step toward confidently navigating the future of cloud technology.
