Hey everyone! I’m here to give you a quick update on our dorm rules. We’ve made a few changes to make living here safer, cleaner, and more comfortable for all of us.
So first, the basics are still the same, you’re expected to keep your space clean, respect others, and follow shared space schedules. But here’s what’s changed: quiet hours have now been extended from 10 PM to 7 AM on weekdays, and 11 PM to 8 AM on weekends. This gives everyone more time to rest, especially during busy academic days. We’ll also be doing more regular checks to keep shared areas clean and usable for everyone.
Safety is a big focus in this update. You now need to make sure your doors are locked at all times, not just at night. If you notice anything unusual or suspicious, report it immediately using the dorm’s reporting system. We’ve also made fire safety procedures clearer, so everyone knows exactly what to do in case of an emergency.
Now, here are some of the biggest day-to-day changes. Laundry rooms will operate on designated hours from 8 AM to 10 PM, which helps reduce overcrowding and gives everyone a fair chance to use the machines. Curfew times have also been adjusted, residents are now expected to be back by 10:30 PM on weekdays and 11:30 PM on weekends to improve overall safety and security in the dorm.
We’ve also introduced new recycling rules in common areas. You’ll now see clearly labeled bins to help separate waste properly. It’s a simple change, but it helps keep our dorm cleaner and more environmentally friendly.
So that’s everything! These updates are meant to make dorm life smoother, safer, and more enjoyable for all of us. Let’s work together to keep our dorm a great place to live. Thanks everyone.
