Thinking about the Simmons Honors Program? It’s not just more work—it’s a chance to learn deeply, contribute meaningfully, and join a community that gets it.
So what does that actually look like in practice? First, Priority Registration—you pick your classes first, so no 7 AM lectures unless you actually want them. Then there are Small Seminar Classes, with around twelve students instead of hundreds, so discussions actually happen.
You’ll also find Paid Undergraduate Research opportunities, where you can work with faculty and even get your name on a paper before you graduate. And with Honors-Only Courses, you’ll dive deeper into subjects and focus on meaningful work instead of busywork.
But honors isn’t just about academics—it’s also about community. You can live in the Honors Residential College, connect with other motivated students, and use the Honors Lounge, a space to study, collaborate, and recharge.
The Simmons Honors Program isn’t just about doing more—it’s about doing better, together. Your community is waiting.
