Welcome to our Library Orientation Training! Today, we’ll help you get familiar with the library, its rules, services, and the support you provide.

First, let’s cover the basics. Our library is open Monday to Friday from 8 A-M to 8 PM, and Saturday to Sunday from 9 A-M to 5 PM. It’s important to ensure these hours are clearly communicated and followed. You’ll also help enforce our key rules: maintaining a quiet atmosphere, protecting library materials, prohibiting food and drinks, and reminding visitors to return books on time.

Next, let’s go over the services we provide. You’ll be guiding visitors through our main services: book borrowing and returns, digital resources like e-books and databases, and study facilities such as computers and printing stations. It’s also your role to promote our special collections and research materials to those who need them.

Your responsibilities include assisting visitors in finding resources, providing research support, and organizing library events or workshops. You’ll also ensure books are properly maintained and that library rules are followed to keep everything running smoothly.

By understanding these operations and responsibilities, you help create a welcoming, efficient, and resourceful library environment. Together, we make this library a place for learning and inspiration!
