What is a 3D Avatar?

A 3D Avatar leverages computer graphics to create digital humans that resemble real people. They exhibit realistic appearance, expressions, actions, clothing styles, and voices. With AI, these avatars can even hold interactive conversations.

Rendora’s AIGC 3D Avatar system combines advanced AI and 3D modeling, allowing users to design and customize highly-realistic avatars for branding, social media, education, and more.

3. Three Steps to Build Your Own 3D Avatar

  1. Start with a Base Model:
    1. Enter the Rendora creation interface and go to [Avatar]. Click on [Custom Avatar] to create your own character.
    2. Alternatively, scroll down to the Avatar Library to quickly find a suitable avatar model.
    3. Tip: You can also use the [Filter] tool to narrow your search by type, gender, age, or favorites for greater efficiency.
  3. Customize Appearance:
    1. Use the left sidebar to adjust outfit, hairstyle, accessories, makeup, and facial features to fit your needs.
  5. Save & Reuse:
    1. Name your avatar at the top and click [Save]. Your design is stored in My Avatar for future projects.

II. Avatar Customization

1. Avatar Selection

  • Library:Variety of ready-made avatars for customization. Filter by type, gender, age, favorites, or search by name.
  • My Avatar:All your saved, custom avatars. Searchable by name for quick retrieval.

2. Outfit

Outfit Filtering

You can filter outfits by Type, Style, and Color.

How to Use:

  • In [Avatar] > [Custom Avatar], select "Outfit" from the left panel.
  • Click the funnel icon to open filter options.

Filter Options:

  • Type: Choose the clothing type, such as Sporty, Casual, Formal, Futurism, Uniform, Festival, Neo-Chinese, etc.
  • Style: Select the character style, like Elegant Style, Office Chic, Vintage Style, Ancient Style, Preppy Style, Minimalist Style, Glamorous Style, Neutral Style, Ethnic Style, Dark Style, ABG, Street, etc.
  • Color: Pick a color scheme, such as black, white, grey, beige, brown, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, etc.
  • Search: Search for outfits by name.

Outfit Editing

Some outfits support customization, including suits, trousers, and flats.

How to Use:

  • In the left sidebar, select "Outfit," then use the right panel to enter outfit customization mode.

Editing Options:

  • Suits: Change the top.
    • Fabric: Swap out materials and fabrics for a more realistic look.
    • Logo: Add a logo to the left chest or left sleeve for branding.
  • Trousers: Change the bottom.
  • Flats: Change the shoes.

3. Hairstyle

After selecting a base avatar model, you can further customize its appearance. Use the left sidebar to set the hairstyle, allowing you to choose different styles for your 3D avatar to express various personalities and looks.

Filtering Hairstyles

Hairstyles can be filtered by gender, length, curl type, and bangs.

How to use:

  • On the [3D Character Creation] > [Appearance Refresh] page, choose "Hairstyle" from the left sidebar.
  • Click the funnel icon to browse different hairstyle options.

Filter Options:

  • Hairstyle: Select styles like Bun, Dreadlocks, etc.
  • Curl: Choose hair texture such as Straight Hair, Wavy Hair, Finger Waves, etc.
  • Bangs: Pick bangs types like Air Bangs, Curtain Bangs, Side Swept Bangs, Full Bangs, No Bangs, Middle Part Bangs, etc.
  • Search: Search for hairstyles by name.

Changing Hair Color

A variety of hair colors are available for further customization.

How to use:

  • On the [Avatar] > [Custom Avatar] page, select "Hairstyle" from the left sidebar.
  • In the right panel, open the “Haircolor Library” and choose a color.

The hair color library offers a wide range of choices for detailed hair color customization.

4. Accessories

  • Add and filter accessories: glasses (by gender), and earrings (by type and gender).

5. Makeup

  • Select different makeup styles directly from the sidebar to fit various scenarios or moods.

6. Face

After selecting a base Avatar model, you can further customize your Avatar’s appearance by precisely adjusting facial features in the left sidebar.

How to use:

  • Go to [Avatar] > [Custom Avatar], and select "Face" in the left sidebar.
  • Use simple sliders to adjust eyebrows, eyes, nose, mouth, and face shape for your ideal 3D Avatar.

Face Options:

  • Face Shape:
    • Face Shapes: Short Pointed, Triangular, Short Well-Proportioned, Long, Square-Shaped, Square, Youthful, Well-Proportioned, etc.
    • Simple Mode: Adjust face width/length with sliders and reset as needed.
    • Advanced Mode: Fine-tune forehead, midface, and chin with sliders and reset.
  • Eyebrows:
    • Styles: Bold & Thick Untamed, Sparse Untamed, Gentleman's Wild, etc.
    • Adjust and reset shape with sliders.
  • Eyes:
    • Types: Peach Blossom, Standard, Downturned Round, Almond, Deep-Set, Downturned Pointed, Fox Eyes, etc.
    • Simple Mode: Adjust size, distance, openness, and width.
    • Advanced Mode: Adjust inner/outer corners and eyelid shape.
  • Nose:
    • Types: Hump Nose, Greek Nose, Balanced, Long Pointed, Aquiline, Straight Small, Elongated, etc.
    • Simple Mode: Adjust size, height, width, and depth.
    • Advanced Mode: Fine-tune nose tip and bridge.
  • Mouth:
    • Lip Types: Standard, Caucasian Thin, Bow-Shaped, M-Shaped, Half-Round, Drooping, etc.
    • Simple Mode: Adjust size, width, height, and depth.
    • Advanced Mode: Adjust upper/lower lip thickness.
  • Ears:
    • Types: Round, Pointed, Square, Triangular, Half-Round, etc.
    • Adjust ear position and reset with sliders.

III. Special 3D Avatar Features

  • Live Preview:See your avatar in different studio backgrounds and lighting in real-time.
    • Connect/disconnect from preview room at the top left of the interface.
  • Action Switch:Preview various preset actions/poses for the avatar (e.g. Awarking,Take a selfie, Be curious,Thinking,Look myself,Relax,Sway,Tired).
  • shot Switch:Easily toggle between full-body, half-body, bust and close-up views.
  • Background Switch:Choose from multiple backgrounds for visual context (e.g., gray, blue, purple).
  • Rotate View:Rotate the avatar to check from all angles.
  • Full Screen:Enter full screen for detailed examination.
  • Undo:Undo any recent customization step via the button at the top left during editing.

  1. Can the virtual avatar change clothes?

Yes, in [Avatar] > [Custom Avatar], you can freely choose outfits.

  1. Can I add a logo to avatar clothing?

Yes! Rendora’s Avatar supports adding logos to some outfits. In the [Avatar] > [Custom Avatar] interface, you can easily add or replace logos while customizing your avatar’s outfit. Both official media logos and your own custom uploads are supported for logo creation.

  1. Can I edit the avatar’s face?

Absolutely! The "face editing" feature is now live in Rendora!
You can access it from [Avatar] > [Custom Avatar] by selecting "face".
With advanced AI technology, you can precisely adjust key facial features—like eyes, nose, mouth, and face shape—using intuitive sliders to create your ideal avatar.
